Q. Does the hotel have any parking lots?

We are sorry, but our hotel does not have any parking lots.
So, please park your car in one of the parking lots around our hotel. It costs about 3,000 yen if you use it from 15:00 (check in time) till 11:00 (check out time) next morning.

Q. What is the closest train station to your hotel, and how do we get to your hotel from there?

A.

Subway Karasuma line Gojo station is the closest station to our hotel.
From Exit 8, walk to the right for about a minute to the second intersection.
The Main entrance is on your right at the north-west corner of the intersection.
You will see Higashi Honganji Temple right in the south.

Q. Is the hotel handicapped accessible?

A.

Our hotel is not handicapped accessible in that there are a few steps at the entrance of all the rooms, and some little steps inside the rooms in the main building.

Q. Do you have any washing machines in your hotel?

A.

No, we do not, but we have a laundry service.

Q. Do you have any smoking room or smoking areas in the hotel?

All our hotel rooms are non-smoking, but we have a smoking area on B2 of the main building and on the ground floor of the annex.

Q. We have some food allergies and dislikes. Is it possible to make our meals free of these foods?

We will try our best to meet your request, so please provide us with more details of your food allergies and dislikes.

Q. What amenities are provided for us in the room?

Yukata (Japanese robe), slippers, tooth brush, hair brush, razor, swabs, cotton pads, make-up cleanser, face lotion and moisturizer are provided in the room.

However, we will provide extra amenities upon request.

Breakfast is served at our restaurant, THE KITCHEN KANRA.
Our breakfast is 4,000 yen / meal (tax and service charge inclusive) and can be added either before or after your arrival.

Q. What’s the best way to get to your hotel from KIX?

A.

The best way is to take JR Haruka from KIX to the Kyoto station.
75 min train ride and 12 min walk ( or 5 min taxi ride) from the central exit of the Kyoto station.

Q. What’s the best way to get to your hotel from Kyoto Station and how long it takes?

A.

It takes 12mins from the central exit. Walk along the Karasuma steet. We are located at the corner of the Karasuma street and Hanaya cho street, just the north of Higashi Honganji temple, the biggest Buddhism temple.
Or 5 min taxi ride from the central exit of the Kyoto station.

Q. What is the difference between the main building and the Annex building?

A.

Our annex building was built in 2010 and our main building has became a part of us in 2016.
The faclities such as our reception desk, two restaurants, and lounge are located in the main building.
Both buildings are built next to each other and you can easily access from the Main building to the Annex building
from the ground floor through a short pathway.

Q. Do you have any baby cots?

A.

Yes, we do.
Our cots are available for babies of 0 – 2 years old.
If you need one of them, please let us know in advance as the number of the cots is very limited.

Yes, our restaurants have some baby chairs.
If you need one of them, please let us know in advance.

Q. Do you have any pajamas for children?

Yes, we do, but it is one-size-fits-all.

We have kids breakfast menu at 1,800 yen(tax and service charge are inclusive).
Kid’s dinner also available at our restaurant and recommend to make a reservation in advance.

Yes, it is.
Our reception is open for 24 hours, so you are welcome to use our luggage storage service any time.

No, it is not.
Check in starts at 15:00, but our luggage storage service is available any time before that time.

Q. Is late check out possible?

Whether late check out is possible or not can only be known on the morning of your check out day. So, please ask us at the front desk on that morning.

Q. Do you rent bikes?

Yes, we have some free electric bikes for our guests.
The number of our bikes are limited, so we recommend you to book them in advance.
Also, our bikes are available only during the daytime and when the weather is good.

Yes, they are.
Japanese shiatsu massage is available in your room, and we have an esthetic salon on the ground floor of the annex (booking necessary).

Q. Do you have a laundry service?

Yes, we do.
For your laundry to be done on the same day, it needs to be collected by 9AM.
So, please call us to the front desk for a pick up by then.

Q. Do you have any wheel chairs for rent?

A.

Yes, we have some free wheel chairs.
As the number of our wheel chair is limited, we recommend you to book them in advance.

Q. Can we send our luggage/items bought online prior to our check-in date?

Yes. Please feel free to send your luggage ahead of time.
We can store them at our reception till you check in.
Please ensure to put a reservation name and check-in date on a delivery ship. Also, all the delivery fees have to be prepaid on your side.

Shipping costs vary dependning on destination and luggage size.

Q. Can you put two beds side by side?

A.

All of our twin rooms have a set of Hollywood twin beds. 2 mattresses are placed on one board and pushed side by side, no gaps in between. Parents with one or two small children can comforatbly sleep on these wide beds.

Q. What kind of rental items do you have?

A.

Electric bicycles, baby beds, baby bath, iron steamer, phone charger, adaptor, hair straighterner irons, wheelchairs, blueray player etc. Please reserve in advance by email as the number is limited.
