The opening reception for the exhibition "Forest of Umui" at GALLERY 9.5 NAHA will be held on Saturday, October 4th from 6:00 PM.
Five artists will hold a gallery talk in which they will share their thoughts (umui) about the exhibition, as well as a one-night-only special live performance by musicians mayu and Yamashita Ayumu from Yanbaru, the setting for the exhibition.
The lounge will be open for special evening hours on the day, and drinks and light snacks will be available for purchase.
There will also be a joint pop-up event by PEACENESS and BOKU WA KUMA being held in the hotel shop space. We hope you will enjoy that as well.

YAMASHITA Ayumu
Video Creator/Musician/Meditation Instructor
Born in 1992 in Tottori Prefecture. Graduated from Aoyama Gakuin University.
YAMASHITA Ayumu is a musician, meditation instructor, and filmmaker currently residing in Okinawa Prefecture. His YouTube channel, which features content on mindfulness, music, and documentaries, has over 200,000 subscribers. Based in Okinawa, he is active both domestically and internationally.
