Hotel Anterum Naha Gallery will host “Yui Exhibition vol.10,” a group show by fellow painting graduates from the Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts.
Alternating between Tokyo and Okinawa to reach audiences both within and outside the prefecture since graduation, this exhibition returns to its original venue, Maejima, for its commemorative 10th edition after a four-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
The free and expressive works by these six artists evoke a sense of natural light and movement.

〇 Yui Exhibition Artist Comments
This exhibition marks the 10th commemorative show by the Yui Exhibition Group (graduates of the Painting Department at Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts). To widely share the appeal of art cultivated in Okinawa both within and outside the prefecture, the first through ninth exhibitions were alternately held in Okinawa and Tokyo. Since the first Yui Exhibition was held at “Maejima,” we hope to hold this milestone 10th exhibition at “Maejima” as well. Hotel Anterum Naha is used by local residents, tourists, and guests from both within and outside the prefecture. We hope our works will also be seen by a diverse audience. Seven artists, currently creating works in their respective hometowns and residences both within and outside Okinawa, will gather in Okinawa—the origin of their expression (creation)—to hold an exhibition that conveys the appeal of their artistic expression.
