This Golden Week, Hotel Anteroom Naha's restaurant will be hosting an audio-visual performance by Berlin-based media artist Inoue Makoto.
Looking out the window, a large cruise ship docked in the harbor and the slowly changing colors of Naha's sunset unfold.
Against this realistic backdrop, meticulous images and music quietly resonate, creating a special moment where the boundaries between reality and digital melt together.
Enjoy with all five senses these "Infinity Moments," woven together in the intertwining of art and city, nature and technology.

Makoto Inoue
New media artist and techno producer based in Berlin.
Born in a Nichiren Buddhist temple in Roppongi, Tokyo, he was influenced by Buddhism and Japanese culture from an early age. He was also influenced by the thriving nightclub culture of his hometown.
He began his career as an actor, appearing primarily on stage in NHK's historical dramas and films. He then transitioned to pantomime-based nonverbal theater and directing, with an eye toward international success.
In 2006, he moved to Prague after meeting renowned Czech film director Jan Švankmajer. Since then, he has successfully performed nonverbal plays in 26 countries, primarily in Europe, and won numerous awards. He also teaches as a part-time lecturer at the AMU Czech University of Arts.
His musical career began after he composed the music for a stage production. Finding common ground between Buddhism and minimal techno, he relocated to Berlin, the mecca of techno, in 2018.
Since then, he has released techno music primarily on European labels. In 2022, his short film "I, me...," which he directed, starred in, composed music for, and edited, won awards at numerous film festivals.
Combining his experience in theater, music, and film, he began full-scale activities as a new media artist in 2022, focusing on audiovisual live performances that combine video and music.
In 2023, he will participate in an exhibition by world-renowned artist Leiko Ikemura with a music installation. In 2024, he will successfully hold his first large-scale solo exhibition at the renowned Berlin gallery Urban Spree.
Currently based in Berlin, he has performed audiovisual live at festivals across Europe (MANIFEST (Berlin), DAZ Festival (Zurich), Mira Festival (Barcelona), Synesthesia (New York), BLINK Festival (Cincinnati), etc.). In Japan, he has also participated in MUTEK Tokyo.
He continues to research and create works mainly on the theme of the fusion of Buddhist thought, digital art, and techno music.
