In celebration of World Earth Day, Hotel Anteroom Naha will be hosting five events in collaboration with local businesses and organizations from April 19th (Friday) to April 22nd (Monday) to encourage people to think about and act on the future of the planet.
Both guests and the general public are welcome to participate.

Event 1: Toilet Paper Donation Ceremony
Approximately 60kg of surplus toilet paper from the hotel will be donated to the Niji no Mori Library, a space run by the Niji no Hashi Fund, an NPO supporting children's education in Okinawa.

Event 2: Partial Lighting Out in Public Spaces
In an effort to reduce electricity consumption within the hotel, lights will be turned off in some common areas (garden, entrance, and lounge) during the event period.

Event 3. Special Lounge Hours & Locally Produced Original Drink Sales
The hotel lounge will offer locally produced, locally sourced original drinks at special prices, including freshly squeezed juice made with Itoman-grown "Chura Carrots," which are too large to be distributed commercially, and tea sodas made with Okinawan butterfly peas.

- Drip coffee will be sold for ¥100 per cup for those who bring their own bottle.
- Locally Produced Original Drinks: Freshly Squeezed Chura Carrot Juice and Tea Soda for ¥500 per cup
- Hotel Original Bottle Special Sale: ¥3,000 + Drink Ticket

Event 4. Yoga Event
On the hotel rooftop, participants will experience yoga on the theme of the global environment and sustainability, while enjoying the ocean breeze and sunshine, and experiencing the bounty of the earth.

[Location] Hotel Anteroom Naha, 7th floor rooftop (please come to the 2nd floor front desk on the day)
[Cost] ¥1,000/person (reservations required. Guests who bring their own bottle will receive a complimentary drink in the lounge.)

Event 5. Special Workshop: Making Keychains from Recycled Marine Plastic Debris
A ​​special workshop will be held featuring Azuma Manami of "Dr.blue," an Okinawa-based underwater trash collection specialist, and Maeki Minami of "jiyukimama," a brand that develops environmentally friendly products.

The workshop will introduce the issues and initiatives surrounding marine debris, and participants will have the opportunity to make keychains and accessories using recycled plastic waste collected from beaches in Okinawa Prefecture.

Dr.blue: Underwater Trash Pickup Specialty Shop
This dive shop specializes in underwater trash picking, combining the themes of "Scuba Diving and Trash Pickup." With the motto "Fun Trash Pickup," the shop promotes underwater trash picking as a marine activity. Representative Azuma Manami is active as a columnist and lecturer, primarily for local businesses and media outlets.

jiyukimama
jiyukimama is an upcycling brand that utilizes marine plastic and discarded plastic.
Striving to "build a circular future together with the community," the shop collects marine plastic and discarded plastic within Okinawa Prefecture and contributes to solving environmental issues through the concept of "local production for local consumption." Through product manufacturing, lectures, environmental education, and workshops, the shop provides opportunities to lower the barriers to environmental awareness both within and outside the prefecture.
