【24.11.6.Wed-18.Mon】展覧会Into the Closet
Exhibition Period:2024年11月06日 - 2024年11月18日
GALLERY 9.5 NAHA will be holding "Into the Closet," a solo exhibition by HAYATO MACHIDA, a young artist from the prefecture who is experiencing rapid growth.
This will be MACHIDA's first solo exhibition in Okinawa since he went on to study at the Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts Graduate School, where he is currently researching the topic of "Considerations on two-dimensional expression through the attributes of minorities."
This work is a slight departure from the bright, pop art impression MACHIDA has shown us up until now, as it delves deeper into the inner workings of humans and society, focusing on how we maintain balance with the outside world, or whether we block it out.
The exhibition will feature new works as well as previously unseen pieces.
In this autumn of art, why not spend some time experiencing MACHIDA's art and reexamine your own identity?
We look forward to your visit.
