Work Commentary:
“agarma” (Αγαλμα) is Greek for “statue,” while ‘AGARUMAN’ signifies “human sculpture.”
This work creates a unique narrative through physical relationships, reinterpreting the presence of anime heroes and the mechanical transformations and gimmicks of robots. It explores the reality of contemporary sculpture while encapsulating emotions such as pain, fear, longing, and awe.
