Work Commentary:
Hotel Anteroom Naha suite is hosting my first watercolour works.
Having primarily focused on large-scale installations and collaborations in the past, I chose watercolour, using only pigments and the movement of my hands. These works were the most liberating in my recent works. The subjects are the Yanbaru forest, the Okinawan seas, and flowers. I wanted to welcome guests with expressions of my authentic self and Okinawa's natural beauty.
PROFILE
Born in 1987 in southern France. Spent his childhood in Africa and returned to France as a teenager.
Influenced by graffiti painted on the streets of Paris, he began drawing on empty warehouses and vacant lots. After graduating high school, he built his career self-taught, also creating canvas works. Gradually, his pieces began being exhibited in luxury hotels and restaurants.
In 2014, he participated alongside 100 international artists in an event held in Dubai to create the world's largest graffiti on canvas, which was recognized as a Guinness World Record. Since then, he has held solo exhibitions in cities around the world, expanding his creative reach.
