Work Commentary:
Rather than depicting subjects photographically, I aim to create paintings that convey a sense of presence by rendering the spaces between things—the shadows cast by subjects, the light illuminating those spaces, and the atmosphere between objects.
By blurring the subject and layering paint over it, I obscure what is being depicted. I hope viewers will experience these works as they might sense something hidden within mist or beyond frosted glass.

Born in Kagawa Prefecture in 1995. Completed the Master's Program in Fine Arts and Crafts at Kyoto University of Art and Design in 2020.
Focusing on the theme of “drawing things,” I primarily create works using wire as a motif.
