こちらの湯呑は、加藤美樹さんの作品。
大学で陶芸を学ばれ、清水焼の窯元に。
その後京都で独立されて制作を続けておられます。

マットな真っ白の生地に、上品なストライプ模様。
高台と飲み口にちらりと見える金彩が、
更に洗練された見栄えに。

お茶を注ぐとよく映え、
使い重ねていくと
茶の色素に染まっていくこともあるそう。

手になじむ
しっとりとした触り心地と、
飲みやすい飲み口と実用性も兼備。

This teacup with simple and gentle feeling is made by Ms. Miki Kato. She learned about ceramics at the school, and has kept making them in Kyoto. Matte white base and very decent stripe design. Moreover, a little bit of gold essense make it more sophisticated. When you pour tea in it, this teacup becomes perfect look. You can enjoy the change by the color of tea little by little when you use it longer. It has not only the beautiful appearance, but also the practicality like the texture and shape fit your hands and mouth.
