Q. What is the check-in and check-out time?

A.

Check in : 15:00p.m.
Check out : 11:00a.m.

Q. Is it possible to store our luggage before our check-in?

A.

Yes, it is.Our reception is open for 24 hours. Please feel free to ask us before your check-in time.

Q. Can we store our luggage after check out?

A.

As a general rule, we can store your luggage only on your check-out date till you are ready to leave the city.
Sometimes we might not be able to store all your luggage as we have limited space for storage.We appreciate your understanding in advance.

Q. Is early check-in possible?

A.

No, it is not. Check-in starts at 15:00, but our luggage storage service is available anytime before the time. In the case you would like to check-in before 15:00, we might charge an additional fee equal to the full room rate.

Q. Is late check-out possible?

A.

If you wish to extend the check-out time, please let our reception know. It is possible to extend till 12:00, noon, with 1,000 yen. An additional fee equal to the full room rate will be charged for checking out after 12:00.

Q. Do you have day-use plan?

A.

We are sorry but our hotel does not have day-use plan.
Even if you check out before midnight, one day acommodation fee is applied.

Q. How many floors are high floor?

A.

If you reserved certain room types for higher floor , we gurantee to allocate you on above 9th floor.
If you reserve other room types, we cannot accept the request of higher floor.

Q. When is the start date for reservation ?

A.

Reservations are opened on the 1st day of 5 months in advance.
EX) Reservation for January (1/1-1/31) will start 1st August.
※Please note that there may be some changes for reservation opening time under some circumstances.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?

A.

Below is the hotel’s official cancellation policy:
No-show: reservation charge100%

Q. When is the opening time for Onsen (the hotel public bath)?

A.

Onsen is open at the following time;
① 15:00 p.m.~01:00 a.m.(Last Entry 0:45 a.m.)
② 6:00 a.m.~10:00 a.m.

Q. When is the opening time for Sauna?

A.

Sauna is open at the following time;
① 15:00 p.m.~0:00 a.m.

Q. We have some tattoos. Are we allowed to use the pulic bath?

A.

Yes, you can use the onsen as long as you covered tattoos by stickers. We sell a tattoo sticker by 250 JPY at our reception .
(approx.15cm×10cm)

Q. We are not staying at the hotel but can we use the hotel public bath?

A.

The onsen is only for stay guests.
Please also note that the onsen cannot be used before your check-in and after your check-out.

Q. Do you have any rooms with Onsen bathtub?

A.

We do not use hot spring water in any rooms.
Please enjoy Karurusu Onsen hot spring water in the open-air bath on 2F.

Q. How much is the breakfast ?

A.

Breakfast is available at 3,300 JPY/person.
Time: 07:00-09:30 (The last entry time)

Q. We have some food allergies. Is it possible to make our meals free of these foods?

A.

We will try our best to meet your request, so please provide us with more details of your food allergies in advance when you made a reservation.

Q. Is the hotel handicapped accessible?

A.

Our hotel is not handicapped accessible in that there are few steps at onsen areas and inside the rooms.

Q. Is Wi-Fi available in the hotel?

A.

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available in our hotel.

Q. Do you have any smoking room or smoking areas in the hotel?

A.

All our rooms are non-smoking. We have a smoking area on 1F.

Q. Do you have a safety box in a room?

A.

We do not provide a safety box in any rooms.
If you want, you can leave your valuable items at the recepition.

Q. Do you have any washing machines in your hotel?

A.

Yes, we have some washing and dryer machines on 5F and 9F.

Washing machine : 300JPY/ 30min
Dryer : 100JPY / 30min

Q. What are the hotel amenities?

A.

Yukata(Japanese robes), tooth brush, hair brush, razor, cotton swab are provided in your room.
For ladies, face lotion, moisturizer, face wash, cotton and hair rubber are provided at the female Onsen’s changing room.

Q. What are the sizes of Yukata(Japanese robes)?

A.

We provide S and M sizesYukatas (Japanese robes) in the rooms.
If you prefer L or LL size, please inform our receptionist upon check in.

Q. I am allergic to feather. Do you have any feather-free duvets and pillows?

A.

Yes, we have some feather-free pillows and blankets.
If you need them, please let us know in advance as the number of items is limited.

Q. What kind of rental items do you have?

A.

Humidifier/ Air cleaner/ Iron steamer/ Charger/ Multi adaptor/ Hair iron/etc.
Please ask to the front desk as the numbers of items are limited.

Q. Do you have any wheel chairs for rent?

A.

Yes,we have but only one wheel chair is available.
If you would like to use it, please let us know at front-desk.

Q. Is there vending machines and ice makers?

A.

Q. Is there a microwave?

A.

Microwave : 6F / 10F

Q. How old can a child sleep in the same bed with an adult without any charges?

A.

Children age 5 and younger can stay for free of charge.(Children age 6 and older will be charged the same amount as adults)
However there is the upper limit for the number of these children per room.
Doulbe room: one child only
Twin room: up to two children
Suite room : up to two children

Q. What are the amenites for children?

A.

We do not have amenities for children.
If you wish, we provide you amenities as same items as adults.

Q. Do you provide a baby bed in the room?

A.

We do not have baby-bed or cod to lend.

Q. Do you have any breakfast for children?

A.

We are afrad but we do not have any special breakfast menu for child.

Q. Are any baby chairs available at the restaurant in your hotel?

A.

Yes, they are. If you need, please let us know in advance as we have limited the number of baby chairs.

Q. Do you have pajamas or Yukatas for children?

A.

We don’t have any pajamas for children.

SERVICE

Q. Do you have a laundry service?

A.

We have laundry service.
All laundry received by 9:00a.m can be picked up after 20:00p.m.(except Sunday and National holidays)
Please fill out the form being provided in your room and come up with your laundry to the front desk.

Q. Is room service available?

A.

We do not have room service.
Please enjoy meals at our restaurant, Kakatojo Sapporo, on 1F.

Q. Is massage or esthetic salon available?

A.

Yes, there is. Massage service is available in your room.(Reservation is required.) Please ask the detail information at reception if you would like to take.

Q. Can I send a box that I purchased online to the hotel?

A.

Yes, you can but paid items only.
Please make sure to write the below details down on the delivery slip.

・Check in date
If these information is not provided, we will not receive the item you sent.

Q. Do you offer luggage transfer service to another place ?

A.

Yes. Luggage delivery is available by YAMATO delivery company. Shipping costs vary dependning on destination and luggage size. Please contact the reception desk during your stay.

ACCESS

Q. Does the hotel have any parking space?

A.

We have multistory parking space.(2.000yen/1night from15:00 to next 11:00AM)
The reservation is NOT available so whoever comes first will be served. If there is no vacancy,please ask to front desk.We will tell you pay parking lots around our hotel.

Q. Could you tell me the detail information of parking space?

A.

The entrance of parking space faces on the west side of our building.

Acceptable size : 2000mm(Hight), 2050mm(Wide), 5300mm(Length), 2500kg(weight)
Price: 2000 JPY/ night(15:00-next11:00AM)
Others: Reservation is NOT available so whoever comes first will be served. Motorcycle and bicycles are not available to park.

If your car is over the size above, we are afraid but please use other parking rots. We will show you the map of other parking rots at reception if you need it.Please feel free to ask it us.

Q. What is the closest Exit of staion to the hotel, and how do we get to the hotel from there?

A.

The closest exit is Exit 8 of Sapporo Ekimae-dori Underground Walkway.Then you will get out in front of Sapporo grand hotel.
Please walk toward to the Hokkaidocho area around 500m.You will find our hotel on your left side.

Q. Could you tell me how to get the hotel from JR Sapporo station?

A.

1)From JR Sapporo station/Sapporo subway station,please walk into Sapporo Ekimae-dori underground walkway.
2)Get out from Exit 8 and you will see ” Starbucks” at the corner.
3)Check the sign board of “North 1 West 4 ” besides the traffic light next to the Starbucks
4)Go straight down the street “North 1 West 4”, then in 500m, you will see ONSEN RYOKAN YUEN SAPPORO, on your left side.

Q. Could you tell me how to get the hotel from New Chitose Airport?

1)New Chitose Airport [JR Rapid airport]→ JR Sapporo station

【BY CAR】
1) Take the highway from New Chitose airport to Sapporo Kita IC.
2) Get off the highway and head to Sapporo station area around 20 minutes.

1)Take the bus from New Chitose airport[For Sapporo downtown]
2)Get off at Doucho Seimon mae (道庁正門前/ Hokkaido Government Building).
