SHANARI SHIRTS is a Japanese-style upcycling brand that takes kimonos that have lain
dormant in wardrobes and transforms them to fit modern lifestyles with the memories of
their owners. SHANARI SHIRTS designs new textiles by combining kimonos that have
been handed over to them, and all of its products are one-of-a-kind. Kimonos from all over
Japan are transformed into shirts by local grandmothers, mothers, and young people as a
creative team. The materials, the makers and the style are all 100% MADE IN JAPAN.
