“The charm you haven’t noticed yet”
My wife is from Taiwan and experiences sound in her own unique way.
The little sounds that slip away in everyday life
are expressed through flowers and their meanings.
Flowers are a lot like people—
each one has its own personality and beauty.
Inspired by that, she creates live paintings and illustrations.
Meanwhile, I focus on drawing people and animals.
I believe that in our side profile—the angle we never really see ourselves—
there’s a kind of charm we haven’t noticed yet.
That’s how we came up with
“vase-shaped profile portraits.”
Like displaying flowers,
or decorating your space with something you love.
A piece that gently catches your eye
and makes you feel just a little softer.
