Work Commentary:
I create when I’m overflowing with happiness and love.
I also create when everything — even myself — feels difficult.
There are moments when I wonder whether someone like me can truly inspire others.
But no matter how my emotions shift, I keep drawing.
Creating is what stays with me through every season of my life.

PROFILE
Influenced by a graffiti artist with schizophrenia (hallucinations/auditory hallucinations) and a neighbor who was a painter, I decided to draw from my teens onward. At age 29, I formally incorporated canvas as my medium and lifestyle.
The darkness and light visible amidst the ups and downs of mood and physical condition.
Without judging good or bad, I express what I see as it is, making it a vital habit—a tool for self-reflection.
“The white canvas is my space. The feeling of filling it with my own air is the greatest appeal of painting for me. I'd be happy if my art could give something to those who encounter it.”
