Ryukyuan Bingata Mural Connecting Past, Present, and Future
The wall of Cafe Strata is adorned with a Ryukyuan Bingata mural by artist Toma Chinen. Once, this area was home to Chohotei, a trade route linking Naminoue to Shuri Castle. This historical connection is reflected in three panels, representing the overlap of past, present, and future. It’s a space that invites reflection on the continuous flow of time.
